Important aspect of the organization's activity is the support and aid to the development of public and state institutions and their efforts for harmonization with European and global standards and best practices.

The Institute for Social Studies and Policies was established with the mission to contribute to the advancement of the Bulgarian society by enriching knowledge on various problematic social issues and promoting and supporting the development of the social sciences and humanities.

Research, advocacy and development activities
SRPI is a non-profit organization carrying out scientific, research, advocacy and development activities in public interest. We conduct and support the conduct of social and humanitarian research, prepare and distribute expert assessments and analytical products on practical, scientific and educational issues related to social and humanitarian problems and the policies regulating the relevant fields. Our main areas of expertise are: social deviations and crimes studies; rule of law studies; equality, diversity and inclusion studies; gender studies; migration studies, etc.
